Summer Photo Competition 2023

Terms & Conditions

  1. No purchase necessary – free to enter, photo competition.
  2. This Blue Whale Spa photo contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
  3. Entrants must enter by emailing [email protected]. They must send 1 photo of a hot tub that will enter the competition.
  4. To enter the competition, you must be: (a) a UK resident; (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry; (c) a Blue Whale Spa Customer who has already purchased the tub.
  5. Winner selection: The entry-qualified photo with the most votes from Blue Whale Spa employees will be selected as a winner.
  6. The competition prize is £200 worth of hot tub accessories: 6 chlorine/bromine and 2 filters (the type of filter depends on the hot tub model that the winner owns).
  7. No cash alternatives or substitutions, the prize is not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with any other offer, promotion, or discount.
  8. The competition closes at midnight, UK Time (GMT+1) on 31st of July 2023.
  9. The promoter is Blue Whale Spa Ltd registered at 11 Glaisdale Drive East, Nottingham, NG8 4GU. Company Reg No: 10003023. The VAT Number is GB241521249.
  10. By entering this competition entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
  11. We hereby state that all entry photos may be used in our online and offline marketing material as we see fit with the Blue Whale Spa brand.
  12. The winner may be required to take part in publicity.
  13. Blue Whale Spa will take all reasonable steps to contact the winning entrants to arrange the delivery of the prize, but should there be no response to messages, emails or phone calls (where the contact details are known) within 7 days of notification. Blue Whale Spa Limited will allocate the prize to a runner-up.
  14. Blue Whale Spa Limited reserves the right at its sole discretion to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being indecent, showing unsafe use of a hot tub, being in breach of these conditions, or the spirit of the promotion.
  15. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any law. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own photograph and that they own the copyright for it.
  16. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. By entering the competition, all entrants grant Blue Whale Spa Limited the right to publish and exhibit their photographs on our promotional materials used in online and offline marketing material as we see fit with Blue Whale Spa Limited brands.
  17. Duplicate entries will be excluded from the competition.
  18. Employees of Blue Whale Spa Limited, their agents and families, suppliers, and associated companies are excluded from entering.
  19. In the event of any dispute regarding these terms and conditions, Blue Whale Spa’s decision shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  20. Blue Whale Spa Limited does not accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.

Blue Whale Spa Limited does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting the prize. Nothing shall exclude Blue Whale Spa Limited’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

  1. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  2. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party without the entrant’s prior consent other than as indicated by these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Blue Whale Spa Limited reserves the right to amend the terms of this competition at any time.
