Due to business growth, we are looking for an experienced technician to join our expanding team delivering and installing hot tubs around the UK. If you are looking for a new challenge, can meet the requirements set below please send your CV for consideration.

Main duties and tasks

  • Provide excellent customer service and ability to provide information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Delivering and installing the hot tub to set guidelines to customers’ homes.
  • Trouble shooting service issues and complete repairs and services to hot tubs to company standards.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Work to maintain company KPI
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and inline with company standards.  Attention to detail is parament.
  • Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manor, even in stressful situations
  • Ownership of the vehicle allocated on each shift. Ensuring you are legally compliant at all times.

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have a strong background in electrical or plumbing trade
  • Hold a full driving licence up to 3.5 tonnes and trailer, with experience of driving long wheel base vans.
  • Be 25 years of age or over with 2 years driving experience due to insurance purposes.
  • Be able to take direction and instructions easily.
  • Must be able to safely lift 350kg/heavy lifting for hot tub deliveries on a daily basis, with safety being important at all times.
  • Dedicated, conscientious worker with a positive, “can do” attitude to create a friendly environment for clients and co-workers.
  • Openness to new ways of thinking and acquiring new skills to retain a competitive advantage.
  • Willing to work stop outs for longer journeys.
  • Willing to work to a flexible rota.
  • Must pass a DBS check.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience, with bonus payments awarded based on performance/KPIs. Working hours are Monday to Friday working early morning and late evening.

Main duties and tasks

  • Ability to quickly assess the situation and determine the appropriate steps necessary to resolving the issue.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and provide clear and concise information to customer.
  • Ability to test and treat pool and spa water.
  • Familiarity with and ability to troubleshoot, repair and install- pumps, filter systems, plumbing, heaters and scratch repairs.
  • Compete all repairs in accordance to Company policies and procedures.
  • Report any issues seen with the hot tub to supervisor or head of department.
  • Strong sense of time and productivity management.
  • Taking full ownership of the vehicle allocated on each shift. Ensuring you are legally compliant at all times.

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have a strong background in electrical or plumbing trade
  • Hold a full driving licence up to 3.5 tonnes and trailer, with experience of driving long wheel base vans.
  • Be 25 years of age or over with 2 years driving experience due to insurance purposes.
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills, remaining professional at all times.
  • Must be aware of the condition of the tub at all times and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe condition.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed by your line manager. Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition.
  • Be able to take direction and instructions easily.
  • Must be able to safely lift 350kg/heavy lifting for hot tub deliveries on a daily basis, with safety being important at all times.
  • Dedicated, conscientious worker with a positive, “can do” attitude to create a friendly environment for clients and co-workers.

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Hold a full driving licence up to 3.5 tonnes and trailer, with experience of driving long wheel base vans.
  • Have a current Forklift licence.
  • Be 25 years of age or over with 2 years driving experience due to insurance purposes.
  • Be able to take direction and instructions easily.
  • Be able and willing to lift hot tubs where required.

Blue Whale Spa Ltd, the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of hot tubs, are looking for a Technical Support Advisor. This is a growing and expanding areas of the business. This post is offered on an initial 6-month fixed term contract and could become permanent for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Team Manager you will be the interface between Blue Whale Spa, our Engineers and Customers. You will be able to work between function areas providing key information, support and guidance.  You will have the ability to troubleshoot issues and have an analytical mind.

The person required for this role will need to be multiskilled and can adapt to agile working practices, this is not a typical call centre role. The team is supportive and friendly and full training is provided.

Key Functions:

  • Troubleshooting and fault finding through applied route cause analysis.
  • Providing support and guidance to engineers and customers via phone and/or email.
  • Liaising with internal departments to find fast and effective solutions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance to warranty standards
  • Work to finding process improvements and agile (lean) working practices.
  • Ability to strive to continued professional development thorough learning and research.
  • Provide coaching and mentored to new members of the team.
  • Any other tasks that may occur during day to day working practices.
  • Knowledge Sales Force would be advantageous but not essential.

Key Requirements

  • Ability to problem solve and find work around solutions.
  • Ability to work to project deadlines and priorities own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Hold a degree in any field, minimum of a BA or BSc, and able to provide certification.
  • Have excellent knowledge and recent experience with MS office.
  • Have a can-do attitude and can work under pressure.
  • Knowledge Sales Force would be advantageous but not essential.

As a sales adviser, you will be;

  • Selling hot tubs to customers; who come in the showroom, from inbound calls generated from our marketing and social media sites as well as our online accounts with eBay and Amazon.
  • Processing orders and informing each customer of the progress.
  • Ensuring all finance paperwork is completed and signed in the relevant time periods.
  • Maintaining records on our CRM system.
  • Updating our social media sites where required.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in both face to face and telephone based sales role.
  • Have proven experience of working with CRM systems and MS office. Sales Force would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Possess proven negotiation skills.
  • Be able to build rapport with potential customers.
  • Have proven skills in upselling.
  • Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Be able to work as part of a team but also individually
  • Have worked to KPI’s in previous roles.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent in any field.

Salary for this role is £20,000 basic with £40,000 OTE, however this is not capped and a strong sales person could earn in excess of this over the year.

Working hours are on a rota basis including weekends totalling 40 hours per week.

Reporting into the Finance Manager your duties will include

  • Responsible for reception duties for the finance department.
  • Logging remittances.
  • Assisting with VAT returns.
  • Analysing data and reporting findings.
  • Export and Import duties.
  • R&D costings.
  • Control of Journals – purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
  • Experience of foreign exchange would be a distinct advantage.
  • Preparing month end and board packs.
  • Any other adhoc duties as required.

The idea candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance role.
  • Hold a Degree in Finance or equivalent.
  • Be aware of FCA regulations and be able to remain compliant.
  • Effective at working as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Have a can-do attitude and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge Sales Force would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Being able to speak fluent Mandarin would be advantageous for the company but not a requirement for the role itself.

The basic salary for this role is competitive. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. The company offers 28 days holiday including bank holidays, you will also have the opportunity to earn annual discretionary bonuses based on performance.
